Starting Bids

Lower Barriers, Higher Outcomes

We usually recommend no starting bid to maximise participation and price discovery.

🤔 Why?

  • No minimum starting bid = anyone can join early

  • No price anchoring = potentially higher selling prices

However, sellers can still set a starting bid price if if they wish too - these are optional settings during auction creation.
